Once upon a time, in a land far, far away there was a young bard studing in a wizard school. His interest was not on magic itself, but in music, still his parents sent him to study so he could get a real job, or so they said. Filling with magic his music, he found a way to stay true to himself and keep his parents happy. On that school he found a friend: Alexander was his name. Owner of a determined will, a high family name and a handsome face, he was not only succesfull in summoning but also really popular amongst the girls. However little by little Alex fell for the bard himself....

One day, a pirate came to town. The famed Laraine, captain of the feared Joli Rouge came looking for an important salesman for revenge. Her skill with the sword and strong leadership was only compared with the beauty and grace of her moves in battle making her fearful and desirable at the same time. The battle broke up in the middle of the street, Alex and the bard were there: they tried to hide, they tried to defend, but the people was so scared that couldnt let them move at all, and eventually separated them... and in the mess of the loud battle, Laraine instead of taking her pray by mistake took the bard with her. Trying to stay alive when Laraine realized her mistake, the bard offered the captain a song and a poem; and even by looking sharp as coral, the captain was still a lady and fell for the bard's words...

Later on, everything solved, Laraine returned the bard to his home, who was welcomed by a happy and no longer worried Alex. But a simple glimpse of Alex reaction gave Laraine the clue to his feelings for the bard, and the same noticed Alex in Laraine. A moment in silence, some seconds without words were the statement of war between the two of them... for the love of the bard.
