Artist's Comments

This was made for school originally, for my editorial design class. I got to print it and book it like an actual comic book.

I actually had to color it in a really short period of time so its full of mistakes, please forgive me and be kind not to point them up. :heart: I also know its not an actual animation, and that it goes too fast, but I have no time to fix it now.

Based on a short 4-koma I did on valentines day, waffle was born. A short story about Mateo, a student with an image to keep and a secret fondness for plushies.

I went emo about this homework in my journal not too much ago, and people went and gave me words of pure strenght. Thank you guys. This is for you all. You know who you are, and there's a little something for you hidden in here, pay attention! :heart:

Special thanks to ~Lan-Ishikiori , she helped me to ink all the backgrounds and kept me awake those sleepless nights before the deadline. Thankyou~! :heart:

Also thanks for helping me with the translation, the plot holes and all the laughs. Seems I didnt kill you in the end huh? x3. Also he suggested me this category <<; so blame him if you dont find this funny xP

Im glad I was able to help u so much Achan. :hug: I'm glad I helped make certain scenes funnier...like coming up with the "chuuu", the "Chocolate/coccoa/(other thing), and everything else im forgeting now.

Hee hee hee, very cute! XD I really like all the bold colors you've used, and the subtle animated bits (such as moving word balloons) make it a lot of fun to look at. Lovely character designs, too! Very eyecatching; great work!

Currently, everything remotely witty and enticing I can possibly think of refuses to fit in the small space for a signature provided. Oh well. Better mindless drivel than an oversized signature. Riiight?

This is incredible, ever since I saw some other animated comics, I've been wanting to do one, and seeing this one in action with background shifting and music, it's a complete inspiration, I love this, the art, angles, coloring, humor and set up of the frames.. totally freaking awesome! :+fav:

Arechan, this is simply adorable! The art is wonderful, The background music fit the mood, and even your panel and text bubbles flowed perfectly ('tis hard to do!). This even made me laugh out loud a few times.
